‘I love it!’ Mo Salah speaks about his brilliant Egyptian King song

Posted by

It’s probably the best song the Kop’s invented since the Fernando Torres classic, and if you haven’t heard it, you’ve been living under a rock.

The Mo Salah song, to the tune of Sit Down, by James, is brilliant in its simplicity, as all the best chants are.

‘Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah… Running down the wing… Salah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah.. Egyptian King!’ it goes!

Luckily, Mo loves it!

“I’m happy to hear that every game. I’m happy to feel the love from the fans. It’s very nice, I love it!” he told Sky Sports, cited by the official website.

“The atmosphere here is unbelievable. When I was here four years ago to play against Liverpool, I said, ‘one day I have to play here’.

“The fans are fantastic. From the first day I have felt the support, I feel they like me. I have to give more to make them happy. I feel it in the stadium, even in the warm-up. It’s a fantastic atmosphere.”

Our ludicrously exciting attacker is on 30 goals for the campaign so far, ridiculous considering he’s scored just one penalty, starts from the right and is regarded as a poor finisher by some!

Imagine what he’s going to be like once he starts taking spot-kicks regularly and finds his shooting boots…

Liverpool are in short, extremely lucky to have him. He’s definitely our best signing since Luis Suarez and could go on to usurp the Uruguayan at his current rate of performance.
