Klopp: ‘My players have diarrhoea!’ Press Officer jumps in as Jurgen brings house down

Jurgen Klopp press-conferences are always full of superb content, especially when Liverpool’s manager is in a jovial mood.

With the team on the back of three consecutive wins and injury free heading into tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle, today was one of those days.

The boss was trying to tell the reporters why Gini Wijnaldum and Ben Woodburn have missed training this week, but perhaps shared too much information.

“They have diarrhoea!” Klopp told today’s conference, before the press officer interrupted him and made him stop…

“It’s not allowed to say in public?! Jesus… Diarrhoea? How can I learn language when you cannot say it!?

“If you have it… What do you say?” he asked, before being told that ‘The Runs’ would suffice next time!

“The runs… My players have the runs,” he concluded!

We’re in agreement with Klopp, actually. Why should diarrhoea be an offensive word?!

Anyway, his quotes suggest Wijnaldum won’t be starting anyway, meaning we could see the same midfield that started against West Ham: Emre Can, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Jordan Henderson is also fully fit, so has a chance of being selected as well.

With Jonjo Shelvey unavailable for Rafa Benitez, whoever we field should be more than good enough to get the job done.

We love Rafa, but sadly can’t be giving him any gifts this weekend.
