‘Death, Taxes, Salah…’ Internet explodes as Mo’s 37th secures crucial LFC win

Mo Salah had a quiet game today.

He didn’t receive much of the ball and his team-mates often left him isolated, but when it matters, the Egyptian King does the job.

In the final ten minutes, we were drawing 1-1 with the Eagles and in truth, the hosts looked more likely to find the back of the net.

But after good work from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain down the right, Andrew Robertson picked out our no.11, who sat down Mamadou Sakho, before calmly finishing with his wrong foot to make it 2-1.

The strike was his 37th of the campaign, and his 29th in the Premier League.

He’s equalled the record of 21 different games scored in already, with six matches to play.
