Tonight, his former side beat Manchester City 2-1 to seal a 5-1 aggregate victory and our progress to the semis.
Coutinho watched Barcelona (as he’s cup-tied) lose 3-0 to Roma and exit on the away goals rule.
The Brazilian thought he was too good for us by the end of his tenure, but we’ve proven him wrong.
This Liverpool team is united, excellent and going places.
It would have been nice to put Barca out ourselves in the next round, but we’re grateful our Italian friends did it instead!
