AS Roma mock Harry Kane on Twitter in Mohamed Salah style

Roma have failed to resist to lure of the Harry Kane social media craze in light of the striker winning his appeal to the goals accreditation panel’s and being awarded Tottenham’s second goal against Stoke.

The Englishman has since bore the brunt of his perhaps understandable goal greed as the subject of ongoing jokes on Twitter linking him to goals elsewhere in Europe.

On the same day they were drawn against Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals, Roma jumped on board by placing commentary of a Kane goal over their dramatic quarter-final winner against Barcelona.

Their take bared striking similarities to Mohamed Salah’s alleged reaction to Kane being given the goal and moving one closer to the Egyptian’s tally.

Salah has registered an astonishing 29 goals in the Premier League this season, perhaps explaining a desperation on his rival’s part to close the gap.

Evidently there is no bad blood between Salah and his former employers, who will of course meet over two semi-final legs across the back end of April and first week of May.

It marks a special return for Salah to the Stadio Olimpico, where the Italian club’s faithful fans will undoubtedly strive to match what promises to be a rocking Anfield in two weeks times.
