(Video) Firmino and Mane caught ‘celebration planning’ on bench v Bournemouth

There was no rest bite from Roberto Firmino after being substituted in Saturday’s win over Liverpool – as far as celebration planning is concerned, anyway.

The Brazilian was afforded an early rest after capping off a 3-0 victory with a cool finish into the bottom corner to mark his 25th goal across all competitions this season and 15th in the Premier League.

With that achievement, no other Brazilian has scored more goals in a single season in England’s top flight than Liverpool’s no.9.

Firmino was captured having a joke with Sadio Mane on the bench in the latter stages of the game, with the pair seemingly discussing celebrations.

Firmino has built a reputation as a prominent orchestrator of Liverpool’s exuberant celebrations, with his ‘kung-fu’ kick growing to notoriety across the season.

A notable feature to his post-goal entertainment has been Mane’s tendency to simply copy those around him, which seemed to be in motion on the sidelines.

It served as a small reminder of the high-spirits flourishing throughout the squad at the moment, with a top four finish within reach and a Champions League semi-final beckoning.

Firmino is well within his right to continue with his choreography at this rate.
