There’s a nice little clip doing the rounds on social media today…
Mo Salah hasn’t stopped in the mixed zone all season after matches, where players can give voluntary interviews to journalists, but following the Bournemouth win, he did.
It symbolises how more confident and relaxed he’s now feeling at Liverpool, as did his social media dig at Harry Kane last week!
The Egyptian was being asked about his wonderful header, and how he calculated it following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s wonderful cross.
As he’s giving a stock answer, Virgil van Dijk comes pass and mumbles that it was ‘lucky’!
Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t – but they all count – and the header meant Salah now has 40 goals this season.
Only two players (Roger Hunt and Ian Rush) have reached that milestone in the clubs history.
