It’s been a bit of a rocky start to tonight’s Champions League clash with Roma, and Liverpool have been dealt an injury blow that could impact the rest of the season.

Given how well the Ox has played in this competition this season, it would feel extremely harsh if he were to end up missing the rest of the campaign.

Of course, this also comes in a World Cup year when the former Arsenal man has finally started to show the kind of form that would surely make him a starter for England in Russia.

It remains to be seen how serious this knock will be for him, but the early signs certainly weren’t great and it’ll give us an even bigger task tonight against a Roma side who look determined to come and play at Anfield.

Here’s hoping it doesn’t disrupt out night too much and that we’ll be seeing the Ox back on the pitch again as soon as possible!
