LFC fans will love what Mo Salah tweeted Gary Lineker after Golden Boot win

Mo Salah is a lovely, humble lad – but don’t think for one minute that he’s not unbelievably confident in his own ability.

The Egyptian made it 32 goals for the campaign today against Brighton, which not only confirmed him the Golden Boot – but also made Salah the highest ever score for a single 38-game Premier League campaign.

Goalscoring legend and Match of the Day host Gary Lineker tweeted Mo his congratulations, before Liverpool’s no.11 replied telling the pundit that he told him so!

In all competitions, Salah is on 44 goals – not bad for a debut season following a switch from AS Roma last summer.

It’s hilarious to think that many scoffed at Salah as a Chelsea reject after the deal, any many more claimed he ‘couldn’t finish’ during his early months in red.

His job for the term is not done yet, though.

In 13 days’ time, Salah will face Real Madrid in the Champions League Final in Kiev. Many believe if the forward who takes the game by the scruff of the neck, Liverpool will be able to clinch no.6 and stop the Spaniards collecting no.13.

Here’s hoping…
