Confirmed: Liverpool fans are ready to hurt again!
Following the bizarre collapse of the Nabil Fekir transfer just before the World Cup, vague reports from around the globe are suggesting Liverpool will look to buy Juventus ace Paulo Dybala.
The theory is that with Sky Sports reporting Cristiano Ronaldo is close to a Juventus move, the Italian giants will need to offload their 24-year-old attacker to make room for the Ballon d’Or holder – positionally and financially.
Twitter account Futbol-Mercado, who are based in South America and are followed by Dybala himself, last night claimed we’re prepared to pay up to €90m for the Argentine superstar.

Now, Futbol Mercado make a number of lavish claims on their timeline, some of which seem pretty crazy, so we’re unfortunately taking their tweet with a pinch of salt – even if they are followed by over 400k football fans.
But this didn’t stop Liverpool fans sharing their tweet religiously and fanning the flames!
Interestingly, the likes of Dave Maddock and James Pearce recently denied Liverpool’s interest in Jack Grealish – but haven’t said anything about Dybala, who can play anywhere across the frontline and would make our attack arguably the best on the planet.
