Brilliant Mo Salah news breaks in Spain; LFC man happier than Harry Kane

New Real Madrid manager Julien Lopetegui asked his club to buy him Mo Salah in place of Cristiano Ronaldo, according to El Pais, a respected Spanish media outlet.

But upon contacting the Egyptian’s representatives, Real Madrid were told in no uncertain terms that the player had no intention of leaving Liverpool.

That’s Mo Salah, Liverpool’s best player, flatly turning down Real Madrid, who’ve won the Champions League three times on the bounce.

Sounds good, doesn’t it?!

What’s more, El Pais claim Salah’s rejection of Madrid’s approach was more ‘conclusive’ than Harry Kane’s.

Considering Kane captains Tottenham, has been at the club since 2004 and is looking forward to bringing them into their new stadium, this is pretty impressive.

Salah bagged 44 goals last term, and we’re actually backing him to get 30+ again this season.

Quite simply, his movement in the box is so phenomenal that he’s going to a get a hatful of chances and finish enough of them to rack up big numbers.

His 2017/18 campaign was no fluke. Salah is world-class and we just hope his goals lead directly to silverware by the time 2019 comes around.
