Liverpool fans cannot believe how lucky we are to have a manager like Jurgen Klopp, when our rivals are stuck with Jose Mourinho…
Recently, Klopp allowed Nathaniel Clyne leave from the pre-season tour to be at the birth of his child – and spoke about the incident with a smile on his face.
“We have exchanged messages and I’ve seen a picture. A little Clyney! The baby will keep him busy for a few days and then he will start training again, all good. There are more important things in life than football and babies are definitely one of them,” he said.
But Mourinho has just handed out a £180k fine to Anthony Martial for doing exactly the same thing, despite getting permission initially from his club to do so.
The Daily Mail says that Martial will face the music upon his return and that he could now exit the club.
Liverpool fans online have all made the same point about how differently Klopp treats players to Mourinho – and many of them have encouraged Martial to make the unheard of move down the M62!
