The Guinean has been practicing with our three world-class forwards in our past two friendlies, which saw Liverpool beat Napoli and Torino ahead of the new campaign.

Now, all four are set to start against West Ham at Anfield today, looking to get Jurgen Klopp’s Reds off to a good start – all the more important with Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs winning so far.

“Over the course of pre-season we’ve all done a lot of work, I think we’re all at a good level of preparation,” he told the official website.

“It’s not been too hard for me [to get used to playing with his new teammates]. I have a very good relationship already established with the three forwards particularly – Sadio, Roberto Firmino and Salah.

“Obviously we’ve done work together as a unit, but it’s not been difficult either with the rest of the team. We’ve all been working very well together and hopefully this is going to help us on Sunday to put it into practice in the league.

“The three forwards, obviously they’ve got experience together and they’re all very fast players. They think quickly [and] they have a very good understanding between themselves so my role is to support that, help in every way I can and hopefully provide them with some good service.”

Keita was mind-bogglingly impressive in Germany for Rb Leipzig and we hope he can translate that to Premier League form. He’s had a full pre-season under Jurgen Klopp, in which he’s done well throughout the summer.

The 23-year-old offers defensive support but also superb creativity, drive and intensity.

We reckon he could actually establish a reputation as one of the best midfielders on the planet at Liverpool. Today would be a fantastic time to being forging it!
