Liverpool took the lead in the 10th minute at Anfield today, thanks to a Wesley Hoedt own-goal.
The Dutchman deflected a fairly inconspicuous ball into his own net in front of the Annie Road end, but the Reds probably deserved the goal on the basis of our early dominance.

In the buildup, Sadio Mane played a fantastic ball to Xherdan Shaqiri, whose shot ended up falling to Hoedt, who somehow gave us the lead.
