‘Shambles’ ‘No credibility…’ Ridiculous decision to pick Hazard over Salah in FIFPRO World XI analysed

Posted by

So Mo Salah was up for the FIFPRO World Player of the Year last night against Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric.

In this respect, he was named as one of the best three performers on the planet, but ridiculously, didn’t make the FIFPRO World XI!

In his place, there were four attackers: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Eden Hazard…

Salah scored twice as many goals as Mbappe last season and led Liverpool to the Champions League Final. He scored way over double Hazard’s meagre tally of 17, with the Belgian suffering one of the worst seasons of his Chelsea career, all things considered.

Hazard had a better World Cup than Mo, but in fairness, Salah was playing for Egypt and not Belgium!

What a mindbogglingly stupid decision. But to be honest, the fact Dani Alves made the side is even more crazy. He started 23 games for PSG and missed the World Cup…

Waste of everyone’s time.
