Jordan Henderson is a man known for being vocal on the pitch, with his shouts of encouragement and frustration a familiar sight on the Anfield turf, but with England playing in front of an empty stadium, onlookers were able to hear exactly what he was saying throughout.
In one incident, Henderson was pulled up by referee Felix Brych for handball, but only after Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic had shouted for the decision – prompting an angry response.

Amidst the silence of the Croatian stadium, with no spectators watching on with Croatia currently under a UEFA ban, it was clear for all to hear what Henderson thought of the decision.

Henderson was booked earlier in the game meaning he will miss England’s match with Spain on Monday, giving him eight days to prepare for the trip to Huddersfield next weekend.
