Three Premier League clubs reportedly want Reds striker in January

Huddersfield Town, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are all keen to sign Dominic Solanke in January, according to Sky Sports.

The 21-year-old would definitely benefit from heading out on loan, with Liverpool almost certain not to let him leave permanently given how highly rated he remains.

Going to David Wagner’s Huddersfield makes perfect sense given the relationship the Yorkshire side’s boss has with Jurgen Klopp, but if Divock Origi is allowed to leave, then Solanke might be forced to stay put as cover for Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge.

Crystal Palace are struggling for goals at the moment, so he would get a lot of chances to play there, while West Ham seems like the least likely destination – they already have Marko Arnautovic and Xavier Hernandez, for example.

Last week, Klopp said about the situation: “We will see. We talk about that with the players first. We will see what happens, but we want to help Dom so he can help us. That’s the target.”

One thing’s for sure – Solanke could definitely do with some game time.
