Merseyside derbies bring out the emotions in even the most composed of fans, but Danny Mills – a pundit for the BBC who has no association with Everton whatsoever – came out with some outrageous comments in the aftermath of the game.

The former England international was on the radio after the final whistle. He claimed Jurgen Klopp was disrespectful in his celebrations following Divock Origi’s goal – and that he should have been arrested for them.

That might be the most over-the-top reaction we’ve ever heard.

Klopp is about pure passion and did nothing to disrespect Everton – he was simply celebrating a last-minute winner with one of his players. We certainly don’t want him to change his ways – that’s what football is all about.
