‘Wipe away the tears!’: Chamberlain brilliantly mocks Trent over pool hammering

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has proven he is not feeling down about his long-term injury – by posting an Instagram story hilariously taking the mick out of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been out for a few months and might not be back before the end of the season, won 9-1 as the pair played pool at Melwood, and the midfielder was keen to show off about the feat.

Halfway through the battle, he could be heard saying: “There’s just no stopping the lad! He doesn’t know when he’s beat… it’s getting silly now. 5-1 and he still refuses to call it a day!”

Oxlade-Chamberlain also left a toilet roll in Trent’s area of the dressing room and a note that read: ‘For any tears or just to wipe away that load of s**t in general’.

Trent should give him a game of chess next time – he might win at that!
