Liverpool fans stumbled upon a gem when they belted out Bobby Firmino’s ‘si senor’ chant for the first time.

The song caught on so well that the player himself often requests it when he scores goals. The Anfield faithful duly agree every time.

The Brazilian suffered a minor injury prior to the Reds’ demolition of lowly Huddersfield Town in the Premier League and was not included in the match day squad.

One of the chants was, of course, ‘si senor’ and Bobby took notice of the fans.

I think the song is great,” he’s quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo. “I love it and I always listen to it when the fans sing it.

It motivates me more when I’m on the pitch because I think about my family and about winning the games. I think it’s amazing!
