Suarez carried on at Robbo in tunnel & tried to wind him up at full-time

Luis Suarez was… well, Luis Suarez, last night.

The Uruguayan is a mindbogglingly exceptional footballer, as proved by his sublime opener from Jordi Alba’s cross – but if you thought his usual shithousery would be toned down against Liverpool – you were sadly mistaken.

Not only did Suarez celebrate with all the glee of someone who despises us, but he started separate rows with Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, James Milner and Andy Robertson – the latter of whom he continued to go at in the half-time tunnel.

He tried on countless occasion to get Liverpool players booked and according to Michael Owen, kept going for Robbo during the break.

‘There was still a bit of a commotion there, walking up the tunnel at half-time,” our former striker told broadcasters BT Sport.

‘Suarez having a bit of a go at Robertson, continuing that spat that there was in the first-half.’

And the Daily Mail suggested Suarez tried to bait our Scottish fullback at full-time, by telling him to keep his chin up after the 3-0 – although in his credit – Robbo laughed it off.

In fairness, we’re not sure what we were expecting!

Suarez is one of the game’s true bastards – brilliant when he’s doing it for your team – horrible when he isn’t.

Let’s just hope Barcelona’s players get a taste of their own medicine at Anfield next week. 100mph game, no prisoners, no nothing.
