Gini Wijnaldum was the two-goal hero on the night, blasting in a quickfire double on the 54th and 56th minutes to level out the tie and set us up to go the whole hog.
The Dutchman has become one of Klopp’s star performers and is finally winning plaudits from outside of Anfield for his supreme technical ability.
With Sergio Busquets and Arthur on his case, Gini displayed some fancy footwork to keep them at bay before demonstrating a piece of ingenious skill to escape their chase.
Wijnaldum deserves all the credit he had before we played Barça off the Anfield turf and all the respect he will undoubtedly get after what he did on Tuesday night.
