The news broke last night that our Guinean, likely set for a start against Chelsea in the Super Cup this evening, had to leave the Attaturk Stadium during Liverpool’s pre-match training session.
In this clip, you’ll see the 24-year-old hobbling off and looking pretty nervous while being accompanied by a physio.
At the end, he trudges down the tunnel.
All we can hope for is that it was precautionary, which is smart from Liverpool following the multiple injuries Keita has had so far in his short time at the club.
We’ll likely find out the extent of the problem this week, but he won’t be in the side tonight – that we’re sure of.
