(Video) Andy Gray makes astounding Mo Salah claim as he gives incredible verdict on Harry Kane’s blatant dive

Andy Gray has made a career out of saying incredibly ridiculous things over the last few years, and his latest comments are no different.

After the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham yesterday, in which Harry Kane blatantly dived in an attempt to win a last-minute penalty, Gray says Mo Salah has won ‘three or four’ penalties in the last year where there has been less contact than that.

It’s interesting that Kane doesn’t get any criticism, but Salah, Paul Pogba and other non-English players do. Had the Egyptian gone down like Kane did, the reaction would almost certainly have been very different.

To claim that the Kane dive should have been a penalty kick is incredible, but to add in the nonsense about Salah makes it even worse.

To compound matters further, Gray and Richard Keys also appear to claim that the VAR would not dare to overturn the referee on the day, Martin Atkinson’s decision, because he would react badly, a quite incredible suggestion that is based on nothing at all and is completely made up.

It really is staggering how far the pair have fallen since their days at Sky Sports.
