(Photo) Philippe Coutinho’s dressing room reaction to Barca’s Anfield drubbing has emerged…

When Philippe Coutinho moved to Barcelona from the Reds for £143 million, he could not have foreseen quite how badly his time at the Camp Nou was set to turn out.

He was booed by his own fans, looked devoid of confidence, and was soon shipped out on loan to Bayern Munich, where he has found some form again.

Perhaps the lowest point of his time in Spain, however, was coming back to Anfield with a three-goal lead, only to lose 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final thanks to Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi doubles.

That would be bad enough normally, but it turns out that there were cameras in the dressing room after the game, and they show Coutinho sat with his head in his hands, wondering what on earth has just happened.

All of the Barcelona players would have been shellshocked, but Coutinho, particularly, must have been questioning his own decision. Had he stayed at Anfield, he could have been a Champions League winner and a Reds legend.
