Official World Cup Ball

Thanks to @abelestefanero for submitting this, I personally think it is ugly.
Call me old fashions but I miss the good old panels.

Everton 0 – Liverpool 2

Nice to be back in winning form and keeping clean sheets, this victory helps boost our confidence and lifts us up to the 5th position in the league table.

Javier Mascherano claimed the first goal after a deflection, the blues did have a few good chances and had two goals ruled-out due to clear offsides in the first half.

My man of the match has to be Pepe Reina who made a few great saves and kept the clean sheet.

We did look shaky at times however the introduction of Yossi Benayoun in the 2nd half put us back in control of the game and  Dirk Kuyt made it 2-0 in the final ten minutes.

It was obvious that many of our players who were injured are still not at 100% fitness especially the way Stevie G. was pretty anonymous for most of the game. We now have six days until our next game with Blackburn this will give our players some time to rest.

Y.N.W.A.

Sun 29th Nov 2009 Liverpool News, Rumours and Rants

Kick off today is at 1:30PM (UK Time), Come on Reds give us a nice comfortable victory, we deserve it.

The Merseyside Derby in numbers more…
(Excellent post by Neil Jones)

The joke of the day; Man City think they can buy Torres  more…
(City you do not understand. Money can’t buy you love, Torres = Love)

However Babel is now being linked with Bayern Munich more…
(He is now known as Rio Babel)

Aurelio is being offered a pay as you play deal more…
(Wow, if we offered this to all our players then the wage bill would have been cut in half this year)

According to this report Lucas claims that Liverpool can not promise a top 4 finish more…
(I believe that this was lost in translation and it is not what he meant)

The ground-share proposal is rejected again more…
(Why do they want us to share a stadium? There are so many teams in London and no one is proposing for any of them to share? How about if Milwall & West Ham shared a stadium?)

Diego Forlan is being linked with Liverpool more…
(At least the People do mention the fact that we have no money for any signings which is the truth)

Andy Gray attacks Rafa more…
(How many European Cups have you won Andy?)

Rafa stays because he loves the fans more…

(Y.N.W.A. Rafa, I will always support you)

Even David Moyes rubbished quitting rumours more…

(He is the best manager Everton had since the 80s,  The London-based news-media will do anything to stop a Mersey domination of  football like we had in the 80s)

An L.F.C. Supporter sets up a Facebook group to convince his girlfriend to join the French LFC supporter’s club more…
(Come on, let us all join, she will be shocked by our fraternité)

Dirk Kuyt has some bizarre rituals more…
(Whatever works Dirk)

The Tampa Bay Rowdies will be coming to the LFC Academy   more…
(Please spread the word if you know someone who might be interested in playing in the Florida sun :-)  )

In Spain, Real Madrid face Barcelona today.
(Should be a good game for us neutrals however I will be watching Xabi & Alvaro)

And leaving Liverpool was a very though decision for Xabi more…
(Well, you could have stayed)

Xabi was offered to Barca before his Real move more…
(If this is true than probably Rafa burned that bridge forever, so no matter what the News-Media says I do not think Rafa will ever go to Real)

Jamie Redknapp is being linked with Portsmouth as Grant’s assistant.
(That will be interesting, they hate his dad now that he abandoned them)

And finally a rumour going around that Eric Cantona is wanted by Bath.
(That is good news for human hygiene, I guess it has been a while since Cantona took a bath)
