It was all written!

‘As for tomorrow’s game at St.Andrew’s, I’ve predicted a draw. The pitch is not the best playing surface in the PL and Alex McLeish’s side is very organized. With Johnson and Dann at the back I think they have the best emerging centre-half pairing in the PL. We do have the quality to beat them of course, but we saw what a hard time they gave Arsenal a week or so ago. Good Luck Reds!’

That is what I wrote yesterday and unfortunately, that is what happened. For all those with a pessimistic mood, not all is lost. Even if we manage a draw with Chelsea and win the other four games we are still in with a shot. I think I’ve already explained my theory, so we will just have to wait and see.

Bad pitch, bad approach, bad game. We were on a canter rather than a trot. Ngog had more chances in 15 minutes than Torres had in the rest of the time. The goal we gave away was sloppy, no one, not even unchallenged Reina say Ridgewell coming. Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all drew at St.Andrew’s…we were no exception!

Game archived and Europa League up next! I wonder what formation Rafa will conjure up for this game. With Insua and Babel out and Maxi cup-tied…….God Help Us!

By the way, did you all notice Torres shaking his head in disbelief when he was taken off? Did you all notice Gerrard’s expression and disbelief in the same instant? Did anyone notice our cousins Everton (game still in progress but they are winning!) could end up just three points behind us this evening?

We really love this Club don’t we?

  1. But the problem now, I’m not getting into the arguement about Rafa unless you all bring valid points etc, but there was talk about Torres having a knee knock, so can understand Rafas pre cautions with him would it be worth pushing a player who couldn’t break the brummies defence only to take a knock and be out again. But Rafa can’t win, he tried a change, it was nice to see him have the balls to pull one of the big guns off but it didn’t work out for him. But it could be Rafa wants one last bit of silverware to add to his CV before he takes off possibly!

  2. With a substitute like N’gog even hull city is better than us..Okay to take of Torres sighting the reasons..but N’gog..that lad is not good enough for Burnley at the moment..

Mr.Tonio..I have seen your predictions but its going to be a weakened Arsenal and Manchester United here on may be..or anyways those matches like Spurs vs Man city ..results in all those may just inter-contender matches will be the real tough ones to predict..
