#lfcfollowback and Twitter

If you are a Liverpool fan that likes to connect to your fellow Reds fans around the world, then there is a good chance that you are using social media to do it. The likes of Twitter and Facebook are regular sources of information sharing, debate on the latest news and rumours surrounding the club and unity between far stretched places around the globe.

Twitter uses hashtags to allow people to search and connect across its platform for sharing or seeing information about certain subjects and events, for example many Reds fans use the hashtag #LFC or #YNWA at the end of their tweets to mark it as a Liverpool FC tweet subject so it is easily seen and found in the timelines of Twitter, it assists people in following other members interested in like minded subjects.

A hashtag has been pushed out at present of #lfcfollowback to allow Liverpool FC fans to search each other, mutually follow each other and interact. So if you are a user of Twitter and wishing to communicate with your fellow supporters then just add the hashtag #lfcfollowback at the end of your tweet and hopefully the rest will take care of itself for you. Given the fan base that Liverpool FC holds across the globe it may well be something that is soon visible in the Twitter trending subjects.
