  1. Interesting times! Well a left back must be top prority now I suppose! Thanks to Insua who definately tried his best but ultimately wasn’t up to it !

  2. hope that ray will make a change. we really do need someone that can make a huge different in a short period.hope the club owners can bring back the old lp. i feel that they only bought the club to make a quick buck. tell waht does american know about soccer????? ………….. nothing. i am a die hard llp fan and i know i do not walk alone ……… regarding the about.

  3. Ray. Your comment was a tad disrespectful. Mark my words, the US will be challenging for the World Cup in the next 16/20 years.
Also your articulation did not make much sense mate! What I did understand and agree with you on is that Roy Hodgson needs to bring change to the squad, and not only in bringing new talent. First and foremost, this squad needs to believe in itself. We had lost our belief and our confidence. From second to seventh has no other explanation!

  4. personelly i think put agger at left back for this season, he did well when he had to last year, then allow martin kelly to fight for the place against robbie therefall in the fa cup and carling cup, and then hopefully we may have a good english left back for the seaon after this.

  5. @ jack bromilow. I partly agree with the Agger idea, but only for particular occasions when the main man is not available. Agger is the future of the heart of the Liverpool defence with Skrtel.

  6. Dirk Kuijt should give Royston Drenthe a call and lure him to Merseyside. The dutchman is an excellent left back with the attacking prowess of Johnson. Real will probably even let him out on loan……….!
