Suarez passes medical

Some good news finally…

Taken from the Club’s official website:

Luis Suarez is expected to complete his transfer from Ajax to Liverpool on Monday after successfully passing a medical this weekend.

The Club agreed a fee of up to 26.5million Euros with Ajax for the transfer of the Uruguayan international on Friday and a Liverpool FC spokesperson tonight said: “Luis Suarez has successfully passed his medical and personal terms with the player have been agreed. We expect to complete the remainder of the paperwork tomorrow.”

Time to move on

The past few days have seemed a bit unreal. We’ve bought Suarez, and then later that day Fernando Torres hands in a transfer request. The article on LFC.tv about the transfer request has had over 3,000 comments, everyone’s posting about Torres on Liverpool’s Facebook page. But now it is time to move on.

According to The Mirror, Chelsea have been given £100m to spend. So why not just pay £50m + Anelka and get the deal over and done with. Why decide to bid £45m when you know that Torres’ contract clause is £50m. I bet he’ll just get injured after three weeks if he moves to Chelsea. Anyway, the point is we do not need Torres. He is not consistent for us and it has shown this season he is quite a selfish player. If you look back when we played Everton, there were at least two chances he could have passed the ball to a team-mate who would then have faced an open goal. Instead, he shot himself – and missed. From the expressions on his face when we played Wolves, he made it quite clear he didn’t want to play for us anymore and there was a massive hole in this “loyalty” he had for the club.

The question is though, why does he submit his transfer request now? Only he knows. We are a club that is moving up, Chelsea are a club that are moving down. If Fernando does leave, it will be a loss to him and maybe even his wife.

All I’m saying is we need to move on from this Torres saga – if he goes, then he goes. We get loads of money to spend on new players in the summer, and a player that can try and help us push for a European spot. Ever since Fernando’s hair cut, he’s been going down hill and I think it’s time for him to go. Hopefully Luis Suarez will now get the attention he deserves and become a class player just like what we turned Fernando in to. I’m not going to beg Torres to stay, and I’m not going to abuse him. Overall, he has helped the club in times of need, it’s just unfortunate he might not be here to help us any more.

If he goes, he goes; and if he stays, he stays. Fernando has done good, and he has done bad. Let’s just hope whatever happens will be best for the club, and lets start looking forward to Luis Suarez once again.

Worst Weekend Ever

Hey mates. How you doing?

I know it’s been a crappy weekend. Believe me, ever since the news on Torres came up this Friday, I haven’t been able to sleep. All weekend, I’ve been watching old videos on Youtube with Torres, I’ven been reading open-hearted letters to Torres and while doing it, crying.

It’s intersting to see how I’ve been reacting to this “Torres to fucking Chelshit”-news. A month ago, I laughed at it. A pure and evil laugh, which sounded a lot like those laughs you see on the tele.

This Friday, I thought it was a joke. Is it already April 1st ?

When I woke up on Saturday, I didin’t know if  Torres was a red or not. Shivers down my spine, when I imagined my hero with a blue shirt. The same blue shirt millions of people wipes there asses with.

Intersting to see how it has escaleted, right?

For crying out loud, I haven’t hade time to welcome Súarez yet. All my time and focus has gone to keep myself updated on Torres.

Then I woke up today, realizing something. I don’t give a fuck anymore. If Torres don’t want to play for Liverpool, then he shouldn’t. But for fuck sake Torres, don’t come running back to us when the Chelsea-fans turns their back at you when don’t score every game. Don’t ever think that you can come back, when you are tired of being a benchwarmer and don’t you dare show your face at Anfield again, if you are wearing a blue shirt.

Because it’s really the blue shirt who does it. Because I wouldn’n mind if he wanted to go back to Atletico. Red and white looks good on him to. But for him to go to Chelshit, sorry, but I can’t accept it.

I just can’t.

I love you Torres, and thanks for all you’ve done. But if youre moving on, so am I.

Great! “LFC Family Crest”

It’s more than a badge, it’s a family crest
Courage, Love and family is what it represents
Liverpool FC, will never, ever die!
Not as long as we live under, a beautiful blue sky
The torches on the crest, represent Liverpool as a light
That will never go out, it will always shine bright
Our love for the crest holds us in unison
Creates a bond that makes us all belong

It’s more than a badge, it’s a family crest
It reminds us who we are, so we always do our best
They’ve tried to hurt us for many, many years
But we stand ready to dry each other’s tears
Sometimes it’s hard for other’s to accept
The great power behind our family crest
They don’t understand the wisdom behind, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”
It assures us, we’re safe anywhere away from home
The Phoenix is statement of strength that says We’ll never Back Down,
no matter what
Come hell or high water, we’ll give it all we’ve got
It’s so much more than a badge, it’s the family crest
Of the Liverpudlian’s worldwide, who’s character it represents
So my LFC family, let’s all help our team
Recreate the time, when watching them play felt like a drea
Let’s get behind everyone at our precious club
And make sure they’re all great, from seniors to juniors to regulars to
subs
Let’s help our players start to play
Each and everygame the liverpool way
Let’s remind them to wear the shirt with pride
And cheer on the king as he turns them into a Liverpool side
As long as they’re Redmen they have to do their best
They have survive every single test
They must stand united, and fight like the best
They must honour the magical brilliance of the LFC Family Crest!

Small piece on Torres

From Indranil

I think it’s about time we stopped talking about Torres and what’ll happen if he leaves and why he wants to leave and why he should stay.

We are effing Liverpool! Torres has provided us with brilliant service for 3 years, and we’re proud to have called him a red. But if his heart isn’t in Liverpool anymore, we should respect that and let him go. We’re not some heartless club which will keep a player against his wishes. We’re passionate about LFC and we want those 11 boys down there wearing reds to be as passionate about it as we are. So, if Torres leaves, let him. He will never walk alone, because he’s been great for us these past 3 years!

And let’s welcome Luis Suarez with the gusto it deserves. This is one young lad who’s passionate and daring. Welcome to Anfield Luis! You’ll never walk alone anymore. :D
