  1. He should have been in the first team this season not as a regular, although some would say he should, but as a squad player. DOwnings struggled for major part of the season as have others, he offers something different. Plus there are other clubs sniffing around trying to unsettle him by offering first team opportunities, id be gutted if we lost him he reminds me of John Barnes this guys special.

Look at Arsenal giving Oxlade Chamberlain a chance in the team and how well hes done, Raheem could do as well given some mins will do him the world of good.

    1. HEHE WHAT HAS DOWNING AND HENDERSON CONTRIBUTED.THEY ARE JUST NORMAL PLAYER SO IS RAHEEM STERLING.SO THEY HAVE EQUAL CHANCE TO SHOW THEIR QUALITY US ZAHID BOTAK!!!!PSIT BUAH SEOULLLLLL

  2. No worries, he’ll never stand a chance to wipe out quality players like Henderson and Downing.

    1. Ah come on I am sure that the future is really Hendo and Downing, sure why would Sterling stay if he is in our reserves and behind the gems that are Downing and Henderson??

  3. That is the liverpool’ s problem, they will acquire the best talents and then let them rots without giving 1st team chance and these players will be sold as not good for liverpool. This is what going to happen to the current crops of future superstars at our reserve. What a stupid management! They seems cant learn or simply that darf to understand.

  4. God, if I was a young player, I’d never go to Liverpool. Ask Pacheco about it. Had half a chance and that’s it. This kinda thing can kill a player’s career. Who knows what might have happened to Owen if he had not been given a chance that early and people trusting him. Being left to rot there eats away at you.

  5. Muppets the lot of you! Sterling is 17 years old for goodness sake! He is going to be a terrific player but he’s not ready yet! As for being left to rot those comments are ridiculous! Robinson, Kelly, Spearing and Flanaghan have all been given game time this season

    1. Plenty of good players started at 17, or were at least given a chance. Arsenal does it every time. The only reason Robinson and Flanaghan played this and last season was because we had no cover for their positions. (Kelly and Spearing are over 20) And guess what? They didn’t do half bad, did they? We have no cover for creative wingers apart from (ahem) Downing. Why not give the lad a chance too? He has to be better and braver than Hendo.

  6. I think Kenny & co will give him a run towards the end here you need to remember Sterling is young he is at 17 next season for sure he will see more time

  7. doesnt matter abt age if therew gud enuff then play em remember a gr8 liverpool player once said u cant win anything wiv kids and got proven wrong raheem looks class

  8. Just seen QPR game. Absolutely gutted. Give the kid a chance sterling should’ve defo given the lad a chance I mean come on man how bad can he be. If Dalglish lost a game trying out youngsters I wouldnt be as deflated but pretty much full team and loosing a 2-0 lead to QPR. What a joke.
