Balotelli Signing Excites Liverpool Supporters
Liverpool’s surprise £16 million signing of Mario Balotelli has got everybody talking, especially Liverpool supporters who are excited by the Italian striker’s return to the Premiership.
Brendan Rodgers has been on the lookout for a new striker since Luis Suarez left for Barcelona and although he has managed to bring in a host of new players to strengthen his squad, his striking options were few, so Balotelli’s signing is just what he needed.
Balotelli is big and physical with remarkable ability and score from anywhere with his eye for goal and he will give Rodgers’ attack a new dimension to compliment Daniel Sturridge and Rickie Lambert.
Critics are wary of the signing and believe he will cause trouble for Rodgers but I believe the Reds’ boss will bring the best out of him with his style of management.
Most Liverpool supporters seem excited by the signing and they have expressed their feelings on social network sites. Balotelli’s signing is a clever move by the club because he is a tremendous talent and character that will excite the supporters and to only pay £16 million is a gamble worth taking for a player with a proven goalscoring record.
I think the attitude and camaraderie at the club combined with tremendous Liverpool support could bring out the best of Balotelli and the signing will prove a success.
