The Daily Mirror newspaper have today linked both Arsenal and Liverpool to the possible signing of MK Dons player Dele Alli (17) The 6ft 2in midfielder has made a name for himself this season, with both Club and Country.

The Liverpool scouts were reportedly at the MK Dons game against Swindon at the weekend. They would have seen Alli score in the 2-1 win!

The midfielder is certainly a promising player. He has a eye for goal, has sound technical skills and great athleticism. With careful coaching and if he is able to keep his feet on the ground, Alli could go onto enjoy a successful career.

Any move to the Premier League may include a loan back to the MK Don, so Alli can continue his development under Carl Robinson.

Former Liverpool academy coach and current MK Dons Manager, Robinson has already turned down two offers for his star midfielder. He has gone on record stating he would like to keep hold of him for a couple more seasons, but the Club may be forced to sell if the right offer comes in. A bid of at least £4 million may earn Alli a dream move!

Liverpool’s transfer policy is to buy younger player, which can be improved over time and therefore increase in value. The policy has yet to show a great deal of success
with the latest summer signing. None of the new players have yet to light up Anfield and help the side to think about trying to fill the void caused by the lose of Luis Suarez.

Kop Boss Rodgers may be keen on bring Dele, who is a Reds supporter, to Anfield, but the fans will be looking at the possible bid and asking why the Club are not going out and signing ready made stars, who can hit the ground running. A new defender and another striker are a must!

Daniel Sturridge will be back soon, but given his history, he may well pick up another injury during the season. Especially as he will be expected to take over the burden of scoring goals.
