Rodgers unlikely to risk returning forward…
Northern Irish Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted his star striker Daniel Sturridge is chomping at the bit to return versus Chelsea, but has admitted it will be a big risk to deploy him, reports the Daily Mail.

“The other players have shown (enough) in this period, in the last seven weeks,” said Rodgers.
“He (Sturridge) wants to be involved in the big games. But we have to be realistic and careful. Chelsea is a very important game. If he feels right to be involved in some part, then we will maybe look at it. But it is a big risk.”
As we all know too well, the 25-year-old forward hasn’t played since August, and we’ve missed his goals and pace up top terribly.
Alongside Luis Suarez last term, Sturridge plundered 24 goals in all competitions, and without the pair we’ve struggled to consistently score in 2014/15 – although since switching to the 3-4-3 mid-December our fortunes have improved.
If Sturridge fits into the system seamlessly and proves to be as clinical as he was last campaign, we have a genuine chance of mounting a top four challenge.
We go into the Chelsea clash on the back of a 1-1 draw in the first-leg, although a trip to Stamford Bridge will no doubt prove a tougher test.
