There’s been no stopping Philippe Coutinho so far this season and was too good for Manchester City today, single-handedly picking apart the Premier League champions to the delight of the Anfield faithful.

5) Maxi Rodriguez (2010-2012)

Maxi arrived at Anfield in January 2010, during the start of a difficult time for the Reds where we were regularly struggling for results. The Argentine was one of the few bright lights in the final days under Rafael Benitez, scoring 17 goals in 72 games during his two-and-a-half year stay. He netted two hat-tricks in wins over Birmingham City and Fulham, while he also scored twice at Stamford Bridge in two separate games in 2011.
