Liverpool’s Spanish defender wants to be known for more than his funky dance moves…

The Spaniard became a household name across the country after joining in with Daniel Sturridge’s iconic goal celebration last month, but now wants to making headlines for football, rather than dancing.

Moreno, who celebrated with Sturridge after his goal against Crystal Palace, joked: “I hope they don’t like me just for my dancing! I’d much rather they like me for how I play.

And the full-back, who was quoted by the Daily Mirror, added: “Daniel and I had the idea in a training session and now we practise a bit in training whenever he scores.

“I just joined in against Palace and apparently people liked it. But only if he scores – not if I score. Ever!”

Moreno has scored twice for the Reds so far, netting in the wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Monday’s opponents Swansea City.
