Sterling wants to stall contract conversations until the summer…
Nervous Liverpool fans, and gleeful opposition supporters alike today took to Twitter to discuss Raheem Sterling’s rumoured rejection of a proposed £180k-per-week contract.
The wonderkid’s current deal expires in 2017, but the club is keen to tie him down for the foreseeable, with various European behemoths sniffing around him.
The player wants to delay any discussions until the summer so that he can focus on his football – but as a Liverpool fan, it’s worrying that he hasn’t just put pen to paper already.
What do you make of it all, Reds?
