This is one of five thousand five hundred Centenery Tankards made. this is number 447 and is owned by my family. Its a great tankard and thought I would share it with you to see if anyone else has one of the tankards. If so, show the photos!

I was going through my old vinyls last night and look what I found, it is the extended 12″ mix. Back in 1988 I used to DJ and would play it frequently, I would usually slip it in between Pump up the Volume and Bad. No one ever noticed (except for the Reds) the others were too drunk to realise :-)
NO I WILL NOT SELL IT

Spirit of the Game is looking for a young footballer (who looks aged 15) who lives in Blackpool and is free this Fri 27th. We are going to be in the area with a camera and would like to film you doing some footie tricks along the promenade… please email diane@shorthouseorganisation .com

It will form part of the teaser trailer for the movie and they would get a credit on the final film.

The movie is based on the story of Blackpool’s legend Sir Stanley Matthews.

On Thursday we face Turkish outfit Trabzonspor, the last time we met them was in 1976 in the 2nd round of the European cup. We did qualify after beating them 3-0 at home thanks to goals by Keegan, Heighway & Johnson. Interesting to point out is that we ended up winning the European Cup for the first time in our history that season :-)
