A new Liverpool FC site is out in the open especially for Twitter users, utilising the #lfcfollowback hash tag and is available at www.lfcfollowback.com

The hashtag was created to enable Liverpool FC supporters on Twitter to locate each other and mutually follow each others accounts. You can view an article on the history of #lfcfollowback here for further information. In summary it rose out of a suggestion by Twitter user @spence01 on how to locate Liverpool fans on Twitter, a solution was provided by @dannyb87 who created the hashtag #lfcfollowback and the idea was then pushed to the masses by @justinheron & @kop_that before the snowball effect took over within hours of its release and it became what it is today with the input of @empireofthekop and @paul_tomkins very early on.

The www.lfcfollowback.com site searches for #lfcfollowback tweets on the Twitter public timeline and is designed to remember people who have tweeted #lfcfollowback within their message. So by signing into the site using your Twitter credentials you will easily be able to see if there are any Liverpool fans you have missed and would like to follow.

The site includes a pre-set tweet that can be sent out via your account to confirm that you have connected with the www.lfcfollowback.com site and to raise awareness to other Liverpool fans. The www.lfcfollowback.com site was created by Liverpool FC News.

Pepe Reina suffered a nightmare while playing for Spain in a friendly against Argentina in Buenos Aires.

The Liverpool stopper suffered 3 goals in a matter of 24 minutes with Lionel Messi opening the score in the 10th minute with a cheeky chip. Four minutes later Higuain went round Reina and was able to make it 2-0 from a tight angle. However Reina’s big howler came in the 24th minute when he slipped and Carlos Tevez was quick to capitalise and net home the third goal.

Pepe was substituted in the 2nd half, Fernando Llorente pulled one back in 84th minute for Spain however Sergio Aguero made it 4-1 in the 90th making it Spain’s biggest loss since August 2000

Pepe got the nod to start ahead of Iker Castillas for the World Champions and considering the backlash from the Spanish Press he might not play for Spain again. In Pepe’s defence the pitch was in horrible shape and  the long flight to Buenos Aires was probably a factor too.

Below are the 3 goals that Pepe suffered.

Messi 10′

Higuain 14′

Tevez 34′

Y.N.W.A. Pepe

Chin up mate.
