The Final Straw – Hodgson Should Leave

Posted by

I’m writing this brief post seconds after the final whistle at Anfield was blown to put an end to an abject, anonymous display by Liverpool. This was a chance for the Mighty Reds to get back to winning ways against a team, Wolves, who have continuously struggled away from home. The first striking conundrum was the formation – playing two strikers up front in a typical 4-4-2 scenario is not what is expected at home. This team has been nurtured to play in the 4-3-2-1 setup with two players on the flank just infront of the midfield and in support of Fernando Torres. Going through the middle is too predictable and we know that Liverpool have been at their best playing Maxi and Kuyt just behind Torres. One may argue that some players were not up to scratch today. To be honest I cannot single out anyone who stood above the rest in terms of will, desire, adventure and creativity. Such a low-key performance has its roots in the way the team gels together during training and this is where Hodgson has major influence (nevermind the catastrophic choice of formation today).

I never tolerated abuse towards our manager, and I wholeheartedly campaigned via my columns for such despicable behaviour to seize, but I always stood by my conviction that if the ship was not stabilised by Christmas, then Hodgson would no longer be Liverpool’s manager. The ship is far from being stable. Players seem lost, disinterested and there’s that nightmare scenario that our high profile players may call it a day once the season ends. I also mentioned some time ago that Konchesky doesn’t fit the bill and yet he keeps on getting games and yet his performances are nowhere near what is expected when putting on the red shirt. Roy’s replacement will be hard to find and I can’t think of anyone decent enough to pull us through this dark period. The only option, at this point, is to handover the job to Kenny Dalglish who must be itching for another chance at management. Roy must be applauded for bringing Miereles and for convincing Torres and Reina to stay put. That’s about it really; Hodgson simply doesn’t cut it. Hodgson is the final chapter of a horrendous previous ownership saga. This is the harsh reality of managing one of Europe’s elite clubs – the jigsaw needs to be assembled in a few months not a few years and Hodgson has failed miserably.

Enough said from me I suppose. I will let you follow up and sincerely hope that 2011 starts off with a new boss at the helm and three points in the bag.

You’ll Never Walk Alone.

    1. He was hired, unfortunately, during the ownership crisis when things were topsy turvy. As I said Hodgson is the final chapter; we need to move on from here and NESV must act fast.

  1. HODGSON IF YOU CAN READ THIS,JUST GO AWAY!!! I HAD A LITTLE FAITH IN YOU BUT YOU GOT IT AWAY..WOLVES OVERCLASSED US!!!!WOLVES??!!!!

  2. Agree with everything apart from the fact it was Benitez who signed Shelvey before he departed.

You therefore have given Hodgson too credit lol

    1. Reg Shelvey, yes you’re right, signed in April. Corrected. Sorry for that, it’s all fireworks in my mind right now. Depressed. Glad I’m off work this week.

  3. Great post, totally agree he is not the man for the job,
especially if he can’t motivate the team and play in formation in
order to beat a team not only bottom of the league but who have
only managed to pick up one point on the road all season!

  4. I said b4 Liverpool had to be a min of 6 points from 4th as
a min at Christmas time. We have to start a new year with a new
manager and let’s give him some money to invest.

  5. Good article, we have reached a new low in a very depressing season. How long do we need to put up with passionless performances? After 18 days without a game we had an ideal opportunity to come out and play Wolves off the park and end the year on a high. The new owners said they would listen to the fans, let’s hope they heard the message tonight, we need a change Hodgson is not the man to take us to the next level.

  6. Hodgson will not go away! We have a very stupid and ignorant american owners who knows nothing about football and majority of fans who are enjoying watching an english manager!!
    Believe me , it’s A curse!!

  7. I’d agree that Dalglish should be appointed and the sooner the better. I just hope NESV see sense and do the right thing…sack Hodgson. There’s no tactical sense in the players; no structured pattern of play; and decisions taken by Hodgson are amateurish to say the least. This is the lowest point and NESV risk big-time now unless they act fast. So far, they’ve been too cautious. They need to act and appoint Dalglish till the Summer and then appoint a top coach like Didier Deschamps.

  8. Enough is enough, the guy needs to be shown the door.Players were rubbish showed no desire what so ever with the exception of johnson who is usually rubbish. A mass clear out is needed and it looks like NESV are going to have to spend some real money to sort this fucking mess out. It looks inevitable now that roy will go so why delay it. Please get rid of roy before he buys charlton cole.

  9. Here here.. no disrespect… no abuse… just accept that the job’s too big for you Roy… thanks for trying… YNWA

  10. Totally agree. Sadly if our new owners don’t see this, then they will be presiding over a guaranteed fall from the higher echelons.

Tony was right too – he was never the right man.

The thing about Kenny is that he won’t be that bothered about a contract. So get him in and keep looking for an absolute top class manager with longevity.

    1. The only solution is to bring Kenny back. There’s no decent manager around (unless Hiddink’s persuaded to have another go at club management).

  11. I couldn’t have written it better myself. We’re at best playing like a mid-table team, and today we were playing like a team fighting to avoid relegation. Wolves played like the better team and perhaps that’s not far from the truth. We have the best players – no question – but as a team it’s looking very bad.
I don’t agree with Roy’s selections and I don’t agree with his tactics. I don’t recall seeing a top side (in any league) that keep playing long balls when clearly it’s not working. If we had played some beautiful football and had tried to pass the ball around and kept possession, then I might even had accepted the defeat in acceptance of Wolves luck/skill, but the way we lost tonights match was horrible. We never looked like getting back in the match after going down, and let alone winning.
If playing like this at Anfield against the team at the bottom of the table and after a fall like this one doesn’t get Roy sacked, I don’t know what will.

There’s a big difference between the trust we had in Rafa, and the blind trust being shown Roy if he is not sacked.

  12. Time for NESV to act but I doubt they have a plan they have already stated they will not spend big they will not invest in Stanley Park they belive in a stat system to buy players that may work in a girls game like the Redsox play but not in Football, what big manager would take the Liverpool job none thats why we got Hodgson in the first place all other people approached turned it down, prepare for years of mediocrity

    1. NESV knew nothing or very little about the game when they entered the scene. They’ve probably learnt a lot in the last three months and will know that if things don’t take a turn for the better – immediately – Liverpool may be relegated to the dustbin of history. We need to appreciate that Man. City and Spurs have come forward as serious contenders – not only for the CL fourth spot – but for the leage title too. This means that the league, today more than ever, is harder to win and harder to compete in. NESV will certainly know this. Expect news in the coming days.

  13. i cannot believe this stupid formation that liverpool are playing, every team should be playing with at least 2 strikers.
konchesky, what is he doing in the starting line up like come on, we have aurelio and agger for a reason. i know agger recently returned from injury but still he should be in the starting back four. The starting line up that i think that liverpool should start with every game is.
    REINA

    JOHNSON KYRGIAKOS SKRTEL AGGER

    GERRARD MEIRELES LUCAS

    BABEL COLE
    TORRES

I think that is a top line up for liverpool to play, hopefully he tries this i will be very pleased

  14. I agree Karl, very good post and very sincere. You, like may of us, had patience but it cannot be everlasting. YNWA

  15. I’m absolutely gutted. As soon as I saw the team I knew we were in trouble.talk about inept tactics, square pegs in round holes why play so many people out of their natural position? The style of play is awful no wonder the players heads are down. Please please act now.we need a leader not someone like Roy.surely the owners must act now and get rid please please help us its a total disgrace.bottom of the table at home and lose but not only that we were outplayed, when will the pain end !

  16. 2 weeks of training with Roy’s tactical genius. “Judge me after 10 games”, I guess Roy must be unlucky.Lol.
    King Kenny for manager.

  17. Hodgson is not good enough- tonite we started with players out of position – Kuyt on left meriels on right were he has never played well for liverpool , we had Lucas in middle as a defensive midfielder against the bottom team missing there two best players – weres the positivity ! With meriles and Kuyt on wings it was obvious we have no width and why then Did hodgson do it ? Also obvious ngog and Torres never a partnership- not taking account the consistent abject away displays which is a reoccurring theme from hodgson , the signing of konchesky and poulsen Liverpool deserves better and I hate not supporting the manger but hodgson got to go

  18. It is the worst football I have ever seen Liverpool play – we get dominated now by lower clubs and at home. NESV need to wake up and sack him now before it’s too late and we are sat near the foot of the table!! He’s rubbish and I agree hole-heartly with what has been said in this article – he plays the wrong formation and his tactics are terrible!! Do the honourable thing Roy – RESIGN!

  19. It ridiculous to see that Liverpool are only 3 points in front of the relegation zone going into the new year. Roy Hodgson simply has to go. People are saying that they can’t think of anyone to be a replacement other than Kenny Daglish, but I do not believe that Martin O’Neil is doing anything at the moment and he is a quality manager. I think if anyone needs to be approached about the job, this is the guy.

  20. I completely agree with all what you’ve said, NESV should sack Hudson before JAN perhaps we can still qualifies for the CL nex season :( we have to act fast before its too late :( my only concern is that we lose out best players :(
I thinks martin o’neill is perfect for the job.

    YNWA

  21. Roy Hodgson is the worse manager in the history of Liverpool. He should have never been hired from the start but since a change in ownership has been taken place we still see the new owners watching pathetic the complete humiliation of LFC’s football heritage. Nor Roy Hodgson shows respect to the LFC’s football heritage as also and in its fans specifically. Why isn’t he stepping down? He doesn’t see that he is dwarf manager for this giant of football?

  22. Martin O Neil as his replacement…woy should leave with some dignity intact, rather than later with his reputation in tatters. Roy leave now…its for your own benefit. YNWA

  23. SOMETIMES WE JUST HAVE TO FACE THE FACTS, TORRES WANTS OUT, NOT JUST TONIGHT BUT IN EVERY GAME, THE OPPOSITION CENTRE FORWARD CHASES EVERYTHING WHILE TORRES STANDS STILL. KUYT HAS NOT PERFORMED SINCE HIS INJURY, JOHNSON SHOULD BE DOING A LOT BETTER, SKRTYL HAS COST US 3 GAMES LATELY, KONCHESKY IS NOT UP TO IT BUT WAS NOT THE WORST TONIGHT BY ANY MEANS, POULSON IS A CLOCKWORK MOUSE, THE MANAGER IS AWFUL. I HAVE NEVE IN OVER 50 YEARS BEEN SO ANGRY WITH A MANAGER EVEN WITH TORRES ITS UP TO HODGSON TO PUT HIM STRAIGHT.

    1. Harsh reality and we should never be asking for our manager to resign as inherently Liverpool deserves the best and the best bow out gracefully after notable achievements. This is a different story however and although we recognize that Hodgson has done his utmost in the circumstances, we also understand he is limited as a manager. This further proves that Liverpool is a huge club, bigger than many other sporting institutions, and that the glorious history is still evidently a big part of the club. Kenny Dalglish needs to be appointed ASAP.

  24. Abysmal, dont blame Benitez, blame Hicks & Gillet n they hired Hodgson. And Hodgson hired Poulsen Meireles & Konchesky, dont give him money coz he`ll buy sub standard players, Hodgson MUST GO.

  25. I knew we would struggle tonight with the way face scratcher set us up… he plays kuyt as a left sided midfielder who look so lost I wanted to run on the pitch and give him a hug!!! he played merieles right side who clearly is very uncomfortable there…. we where so narrow that tactically I would of had a field day at anfield managing my Sunday league team…. But the most important factor was we had absolutely no passion no desire , and that is not acceptable for a player in a red shirt… That is down to Roy hodgson…. NESV should be having a conversation right now this minute on what time tomorrow they will be telling Roy thank you but you’ve got to go…. enough is enough… the new owners said they would listen to the fans.. well John Henry and Tom Werner listen to what we are all saying… Roy hodgson is not good or big enough to manage our great football club.. please make the decision tonight and announce it tomorrow… please , I beg you…. if this makes your decision any easier, we lost to a team bottom of the league who had 4 of there first team players missing.. we are now 3 points above bottom 3…… please I beg you

  26. QUESTION – WE REST PLAYERS, WE HAVE 18 DAYS OFF, WE PLAY THE BOTTOM TEAM WHO PLAYED A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO, HOW IS IT THAT THEY HAD TWICE THE ENERGY AND STAMINA THAT WE HAD. PLUS A PLAN AND SOME PASSION.

  27. I have finally had enough. I demand to know a few things

    1) Why in Gods name did RH play Mereiles who has played Centre midfield all season and all his career on the right wing??

    2) Why did he play Dirk Kuyt who has played right wing all season and the majority of his Liverpool Career on the Left wing, whilst having FOUR adept left sided players available (Cole, Jovanovic, Babel and Maxi)

    3) Why is Paul Konchesky playing for Liverpool ahead of Aurelio?

    4) Why was there no cover for a right back on the bench if Johnson got injured when Martin Kelly is available?

I have reached an all time low supporting my beloved team. We are now becoming a joke. Torres looks disinterested and a shadow of the player he was two years ago. Not one of our players today could leave that pitch apart from possibly Ryan Babel (who in the past is a calamity) with their heads held high. It just shows how bad the rest of the players are.

I want to wake up in the morning and hear Roy Has been sacked. Now is the time for the owners to show their ruthless streak and show they mean business. Were not Fulham. Were Liverpool Football club and we wont stand for this!

Get Jamie Carragher in as Player Manager. Have Kenny Dalglish and Damien Comolli as his advisors and lets clear the dead wood. Get Shelvey, Pacheco, Kelly and Spearing in the team now. If were going to lose games we may as well lose with the future of tomorrow in the team rather than Money men.

    YNWA

  28. LITTLE A, YOUR SPOT ON, KARL I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT SLEEP, ITS BECAUSE WE ARE SO ANGRY WITH WHATS GOING ON AT OUR BELOVED ANFIELD. I SUGGEST YOU PUT A MOVIE ON (NOT A HORROR) ONE OF THEM A NIGHT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH OH AND DONT BUY ANY PAPERS TOMORROW.

  29. No passion, No Pride, No tactics, No belief, No football, Definatley NO MANAGER. Loosing at home and he leaves Lucas on as a defensive Midfielder, No hope for our club with Roy.

  30. Finally Karl ive been reading a number of your posts backing the Roy finally you have come to your senses. You can’t excuse the excusable no more, enough is enough from Roy walk on out of our club, we’ve seen and heard enough.

God only knows why we hired you in the first place Perslow resigned because he knew after the support he got following the Hicks n Gillett trial he would be slated for hiring this pathetic excuse for a manager. I mean its like saying Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal replacing Fergus, Ancelotti n Wenger respectively with Mick Mcarthy or Big Sam, it would never happen so i don’t see why we got him.

Don’t give the excuse its all we could attract or afford because Roys still on a good wage and we could have attracted O’Neil, Peligrini, Flores etc for the same money. I just hope the rest of the deluded fans who still back Roy have changed their minds, its not about tradition now its gone beyond a joke……YNWA

    1. Zahid – i have to disagree with your statement “…backing the Roy” – I always campaigned against the disgraceful internet abuse aimed at Roy, and, at the same time, highlighted many of his deficiencies. The column entitled “The Highs and Many Lows of Roy Hodgson” is one such example. It seems contradictory but I can assure you it’s how I honestly believe it should be. Liverpool managers, good or bad should not be showered with senseless talk. I believe in constructive criticism.

  31. I feel absolutely sick and tired of these pathetic performances. The manager is seriously clueless. He thinks its not right that us fans should find it unacceptable to lose to the bottom team. He’s an absolute twat. Roy you are not managing Fulham and yes it is unacceptable when we are 3 points of relegation.

HE MUST GET SACKED immediately or alternetively we can keep him for championship football next year.

Everyone was out of position and he had no idea what to do to change things. Maxi has been one of the few players who have done well this season and he was kept on the bench. He brought cole who spent more time on our half than the attacking half. I was pulling my hair out watching it. How can he just sit their and show know passion or look like he even cared. I guess thats why the players have the same attitude.

If he is sacked then tonights resut will be a blessing in disguise.

I want him out by the morning

  32. does it mean that we are not finishing @ top 4 again??? huh! gush. infact roy hodson has to depart 4rm anfield as early as 2morrow morning.

  33. stan enough is enough mate….. I actually knew before kick off with the way he set the team up we would struggle…. why did he not just play gerrard and merieles central midfield with cole on the left maxi on the right and torres and kuyt up front…. if I picked the team tonight we would of won.. reina Kelly agger sodos aurelio cole gerrard merieles Johnson kuyt Torres… that team would of won

  34. NESV are more stupid than RH, and they will not act soon. They are happy now and satisfied!!
If we really care about this football club , we should boycott the matches now till this clueless NESV act properly and soon.

  35. LITTLE A, YOU COULD NOT HAVE DONE A WORSE JOB THAN RH TONIGHT THATS FOR SURE, TORRES WOULD NOT SCORE AGAINST A PUB TEAM PLAYING WITH SUCH A LACK OF PASSION, HIS HEART’S NOT IN IT AND WE HAVE TO FACE IT, WE MUST CASH IN UNLESS A NEW MANAGER GEES HIM UP AGAIN. ON HIS WAGES HE SHOULD RUN UNTIL HE DROPS.

  36. Roy deserves everything he gets, the bloody media have hailed him a saint since he got the job he can’t do no wrong in their eyes because hes a nice old man.

Don’t give me that old nonsense the manager doesn’t deserve senseless talk, we are paying for tickets to see crap preformances a manager who hasn’t got a clue and your saying we don’t have a right to air our views constructive or not we have every right. We can’t just sit in the ground 24/7 we have to come online and get what we have to say out on forums like this, phone ins, sms, twitter etc so il say it once again whether you like it or not JOG ON ROY……SACK ROY,BRING BACK THE JOY AROUND ANFIELD RD!!!!!!!!!!!!!YNWA

  37. hodgson is better than benitez…….but unfortunately……he is not what lfc requires….guus hiddink is a gud manager…..he takes each game as a final……he will also know which squad will form the goal machine

  38. Roy will be replaced, but the players also need to stand up and be counted.

NESV are never going to re-appoint Rafa and I’ve always believed that his reputation has been over inflated. The man has just been sacked by two big clubs within the space of 6 months. Kenny is a legend, but has been out of the game for far too long and could only be considered for a caretaker role until the Summer.

We need somebody who’s young, hungry and believes in playing the game the right way. Mourinho is a winner and the obvious choice, but would only come if there was a lot money to spend. It would probably suit his ego to try and bring the club back to it’s former glories! More realistically, look at how Owen Coyle has quietly gone about transforming the way that Bolton play? Or Martinez, who has done the same now with both Swansea and Wigan. Or perhaps even Alex McLeish?

I’d finish by saying that Torres hasn’t put in a decent shift for Liverpool in over a year and a spell in the reserves, to regain fitness and sharpness would’ve done him the world of good. Spain also won the World Cup without him contributing, if we’re honest. It would also have sent a strong signal to the rest of those slacking that nobody is untouchable, but it appears that at the current time some players are indeed untouchable and hence why the manager is a weak one and needs to go.

  39. Where is the ‘roy out’ petition? Tonight was a disaster and has to be the last game for roy. Kenny needs to take over till the end of the season until we can put a world class manager in place. This is a matter of life and death, no, it’s more serious than that!!

  40. It’s 2 minutes since H & G went.

Until they start splashing the cash all this kneejerk ‘sack Roy’ bollocks is very foolish and entirely inappropriate.

We’ve spent (net) f**k all for years whilst our rivals have been gropwing stronger. Rafa couldn’t finish higher than 7th last season with Mascha and Benny.

Why should Roy be expected to do any better now?

    We need transfer funds. Badly.

    Very badly.

  41. the red pile of shite.they have fucked me holiday yet again.old roy hog is so taking the piss he dose not care if he wins or looses; he still gets paid. and who would if he gets the boot he cashes in big lets face it hes a spent force and he knows it.he will get a 4,ooo,ooo pay off and it will be see yer just like winning the lotto.give him a kick in the nuts with fuck all.give king kenny the job , he will sort it all give him the job lets face it he wants it and he cant do any worse come on lets stop going the match untill this gets better,,,,,,,,,

  42. Servo shut your nonsense Hodgeson better than Benitez, lmao i don’t know whther to laugh after that comment or cry because of our season and clueless manager……YNWA

  43. Ha Ha HA! All you idiots have got what you wanted!

You all wanted Roy, and wanted Rafa out, a geriatric opposed to a forward thinking manager.

Reep it! and learn to love it you tretcherous fools!

  44. JOHN HENRY FOR GOD’S SAKE GROW A PAIR OF BALL’S AND GET RID OF HODGSON BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE,DON’T BE WORRIED THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY HIM OFF, YOU’LL LOSE A LOT MORE IF WE GET RELEGATED. SACK THE BASTARD NOW OR ARE YOU AND YOUR FIRM COWARD’S.

  45. im fuckin sick of all you so called reds bitching about roy is shite so why do we put up with him ,no other top 6 team puts up with it they sack them so why dont we, you load of shite. the whole team dont deserve our support. cant we boycot the match so we can get our point across, because we pay them our hard ernt money to wath that shite, let torres go , hes not a red no passion, there all shite lets all support hereford they try better and they are holding the whole league up

  46. crappppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

  47. @tom

Torres has unfortunately lost a yard of pace, or maybe 2. He is not the same player he used to be and hasn’t yet adapted to not being the speed merchant he used to be. Unfortunately I liken him to Shearer and Owen when they lost their pace. He must now focus all of his efforts into his movement in the box. I have said this all season….HE WILL NEVER (not for the want of trying) BE THE SAME AGAIN. MARK MY WORDS!

  48. I agree with Jamie that Martin O’Neil is the ideal replacement he will get the best out of the players we have and brought some quality players for Villa, he is a quality manager who wants to managed a team challenging for honours, Roy out Martin in

  49. Hodgson is NOT better than Benitez he NEVER has been. However… thats now an old debate. Lets face it Rafa isnt coming back, although id take him over Roy. I just dont think Roy realises whats happening, there isnt any urgency about the man at all! “bad day at the office” doesn’t cut the 74 minutes (im sorry i am a Red i swear but i couldnt take anymore of that) of football i saw. The only football being played was by Wolves and well done, they played their arses off and won as they deserved. Thing is… this is Liverpool they shouldnt be winning! Not at Anfield!

Of course its down to players as much as it is the manager in many respects BUT players need leadership as do fans and we / they dont have any. New manager required. New inspiration. 2011 new start.

  50. on another point , I don’t like hearing a manager say something like ‘where is the support Liverpool are famous for’ . the fans of Liverpool are individuals, not some single entity that will spark into life if you request their support. you have to earn it Roy. all those people are some of the most educated fans in the world, It’s an honor to stand beside them never mind manage their beloved club. they will scream or shout and do what ever the f**k they want to. pool fans wouldn’t be the best fans in the world if they listened to a managers, not a year in the job, on how they should support their team. I really don’t know what his training methods are like but that team today looked well of their peak and sharpness levels. that’s the manager fault.

  51. i am not impressed by NESV !!!!!
They are not ready to part ways with roy as they have to pay him 3 million pounds compensation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  52. They said… If he can do that with Fulham then imagine what he can do at Liverpool… Well, he has turned Liverpool into Fulham.

Sack him. Liverpool have great players and they look disorganised and disinterested. Hodgson is to blame, sack him now.

  53. ok now im pissed i kept some support for hodgson but now i want him to get his old ass out and stop ruining this club go back to fulham and get relegated dont come here and screw up the team that i love konchesky i feel bad for you but your just not a very good play and tell your mum thats shes a fat rat.

  54. are we being hypocrits letting him walk alone ? NO NO AND NEVER.
to never walk alone you have to love liverpool fc its a prerequisite, HE DOES NOT.
THAT FACT been obvious from the start in all he says and does. GET OUT NOW.

  55. Lol u guys make me laugh seriously! We wanted rafa gone?
Dine! The yanks ? done! Things take time and can’t happen over
night.. Roy is the man to lead Liverpool to success . Can’t beleive
supporters chant rafa benitez lol make up ur minds will u…Roy
should be given to end of season and let’s be honest , he’s not
    that bad..

  56. Lefkatha or Left Nut you should be called, are you blind? what have you been watching all season, your probably a manure scum, Roy will never achieve success with Liverpool hes crap enough said.

Do you think if Fergie, Wenger or Ancelotti left their clubs Roy would even be considerd? No so why was he even considered for our club were not a small mid-table club, Roy hasn’t won anything wherever hes gone apart from the scandinavian league which don’t even count……YNWA

  57. Plz let dat old idot leaave my lovely lfc he can not bring us any good. Imaging dis was an idot who fnished 12th with fulham, & lost d europa finals yet he was brought to my loving lfc by those money-shylock H&G but John Henry should correct dat fuckin mistake if he means well for himself. Now let me tell u d news; i’ll never view any lfc match until dat useless ass hudgson leaves my glorious LIVERPOOL.
