Is this the new Liverpool away kit?

Thanks to @resapradana for sending this picture of what appears to be a leaked picture of Liverpool’s away kit for the 2011/12 season. The blue colour is concerning, I am sure that most Reds like me will be upset to have our team play in what looks like a Chelsea kit.

    I’d rather we have that dull, nauseous teal colour that looked like the backgrounds from Windows 98 computers.

  13. Seeing as adidas design both LFC and CFC kits, it could just be the prototype design with the trimming on the LFC shirt to be changed to red…..maybe looking at sponsor logo and badge position!!! Why do we need a new kit anyway :D

  16. Looks to me like the new Schalke away kit. The badge on the left of the sleeve as you look at the picture looks like the Bundesliga embriodary.

  19. I bet this is a leaked Chelsea shirt which someone has swapped our logo onto. If you going to put a colour with white on an LFC kit you’d make it Red. Adidas are not morons

  21. Agree with Asheaf, as long as that crest is there it belongs to our famous club that i’ll suport regardless of the colour, so if chelsea has blue on their kit is blue banned from liverpool? We’ll make the blue famous and then chelsea would have to change their colour :)

  26. Doubt that’s our new away kit. It’s been badly photoshopped, you can tell from the Crest.

    And as if our kit would be blue!

  27. Nope its a fake, angle your screen so you are looking across it you can clearly see that the addidad and lfc badge has been added later, the colour all around the badges dont match the rest of tge kit!

  33. Someone startin rumours again, no way is it gonna be blue and white, its big business the merchandising and only a tit would buy that, they wont sell any. Nice try photo shopper (prob clelsea or evertone fan)

  35. Fake. This was on a RAWK thread a while back. It is a certainty that one of our away and 3rd kits WILL have blue on it. The other of the two will be black and grey.

  40. Whether the picture is true or not, I have a few points to make:

    1. It may well be the same design as the Greece shirt from the last World Cup, but nothing says this isnt allowed.
    2. I dont like the fact that Blue makes people think of Chelsea and Everton – what we must remember is that Liverpool, when first formed, played in Blue and White quarters (like Blackburn Rovers do these days as I’m sure all fans who are completely aware of the whole of Liverpools history will be aware)
    3.This is probably a fake from somewhere, but if its real, lets embrace it, I suspect the real reason for any blue in the design was to re-affirm some of the earliest history of our famous club – think of it like that, and nothing to do with Chelsea or Everton!

  42. b*bloc*s…..someone is having mischief! Who cares if we originally played in white or blue….. Shankly put us in red! The only thing this should embrace is my dogs basket so she can place he lady bits on it when she’s on season!

  45. This is the true color way for the 2012 away strip. It is white/cyan as adidas puts it on their wholesale website

  47. Perhaps the Blue colour could change to other colour if the Red is not suit that design. Maybe Gold, Black or Green is fine with. But the Standard Chartered’s colour is nice. Leave it like this, should be Ok. Liverpool FC’ Logo should be back to it normal Colour.

  57. I reckon this is a mocked up Chelsea kit as everything is very clear accept the badge and the Standard Chartered logo doesn’t fold properly with the creases. As if Liverpool would agree to blue forget chelsea what about Everton next they’ll bring liverpool’s white shorts back to the home kit.

  59. IF THATS THS NEW AWAY SHIRT, THEN IM NOT BUYING IT, HAT HAPPENED TO THE CLUB USING THAT YELLOW TRIM THAT WE USED TO HAVE WITH THE CROWN PAINTS KITS AND SO ON.

    THAT KITS IS SHITE AND WILL NEVER BUY A LFC KIT WITH BLUE AND THAT ON IT, NO THANKS

  61. Highly doubt it as,

    this is greece’s old template for the 2010 world cup, adidas do reuse templates but not 2 year old ones (considering the next kits 11/12 and greeces home was 10)

    Liverpool away kits follow a pattern yellow, black/green/alternate, white, yellow, black/green/alternate, white etc. so its more than likely going to be yellow kit we have next season

  64. looks like a Chelsea rip off and a a training top not a Football shirt, when was the lastime we’ve had a blue shirt???????????? i would like the old retro shirts to be brought back……YNWA

  65. There is no way LFC would release a shirt in blue and white.

    If the line was red…maybe.

    Blue and White now reminds me of Torres and make me feel violently sick.

  66. At least post a good effort. Pathetic use of Photoshop. LFC emblem and Standard Charter are both ripped from poor quality jpegs. Next…
