I WILL WRITE THIS NOW AND WILL WRITE IT AGAIN. TWELVE MONTHS AGO MANY OF THE 52% OF THE 1200 PLUS THAT HAVE VOTED TODAY LUCAS LEIVA AS THE BEST LFC PLAYER OF THE SEASON WANTED HIM OUT OF THE CLUB MERCILESSLY.
THOSE WERE THE PEOPLE WITH LITTLE VISION OF FOOTBALL.THE YOUNG BLONDE BRAZILIAN HAS MADE THEM SWALLOW THEIR INSULTS AND NOT ONLY WAS OUTRIGHT THE BEST PERFORMER FOR LFC, HE HAS ALSO CEMENTED HIMSELF AS A MIDFIELD PINNACLE OF NON OTHER THAN THE MOST DECORATED AND TALENTED NATIONAL TEAM IN THE WORLD: BRAZIL!
Thankfully I wasn’t one of them. Always thought he’d come through for the club although I didn’t expect him to perform as well as he did in some of the matches. Honestly though, I like to think that the comments, jeers and taunts from alot of fans helped improve his game, had he not received the criticism I don’t think he would have turned out half as good as he did this season.
Mr Bone, I would like to see where Lucas ould play if LFC buy Yann Mvilla or Matuidi
You really believe Lucas is the reason why we are 6th today ? Must be joking..Lucas is the most improved LFC player this season..but Meireles and Suarez had a more important role me thinks.#creativityisamust
I would also like to see where Lucas would be in two years time, if LFC buy Mvilla or Matuidi. Then Coady comes of age. Really interesting, plus Spearing competing for a place. Maybe our player of the season does not have a Liverpool first team future after all.
