Hillsborough

Today is a landmark day. It has taken 23 years for the families of the 96 to get the real truth. Now they deserve justice. Their courage and determination has been incredible. So has the support from fans and the people of Merseyside.

96 people lost their lives. This could have been prevented. 41 of those people could have survived. Hopefully those responsible for the failings that day and the tragedy that followed will now be held accountable.

I wish the families the best of luck.
