No retreat, No surrender

I am gutted over Wednesday’s result but I am not going to let it drag me down.

We started out of the gate strong with Torres snatching a beauty however an equaliser by Ivanovic in the 39th minute sent the Reds in disarray. We played awful in the second half and Chelsea could have easily bagged four or five goals. Ivanovic scored again in the 62nd minute and then Drogba sealed their victory in the 69th minute.
There is no particular player to blame for this lousy performance, we played bad all around.

Now we need to pick ourselves up as we have an early game on Saturday against Blackburn and then we visit Stamford Bridge on Tuesday for the away leg of the Champions League Quarter Finals.

Do we have a mountain to climb? Hell yes we do, and it is a steep one but we are Liverpool and we never surrender, we will fight until the bitter end.

Mancs are all baffled, they do not know what to say by our reaction. After Aurelio scored the 3rd goal at Old Trafford they are started piling towards the exit. The reaction at Anfield was the opposite, the Kop erupted in a Y.N.W.A.

When you walk through a storm
Keep your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At he end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.

Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never walk alone.

With no Gerrard at the Bridge Its Going to take a Monumental Effort from “The RED Men” Just remember we beat the “SCUM” 2-1 without “Gerrard and “Torres”
