Out of our hands

With United’s victory in the Manchester derby our title hopes are now not in our hands anymore. All they need are four points in their next two games. We play W.B.A. on Sunday and by then it is possible that Manure would have won the title already.

Our game away to West Ham on Saturday was another one of utter domination, Stevie G. opened the scoring after just 76 seconds which if I am not mistaken is our fastest goal of the season. The Hammers did have a few chances but Boa Morte brought Torres down in the penalty area.
Steven Gerrard took the penalty and Green saved the first shot however Stevie was there to tuck in his second goal.

The Hammers kept trying and Di Michele almost snatched one back after a slip up from Jamie Carragher but it was Di Michele who stumbled and then dived in the box causing the referee Alan Wiley to yellow card the Italian.

The third and final goal came late in the game from super-sub Ryan Babel.
