Danny Agger : The great Dane looks set for a long absence as he will undergo back surgery and we might not see him play until November.
Martin Skrtel : Recovering from the shattered jaw, he still has another couple of weeks.
Fabio Aurelio : No word on when he will return but I believe it should be sometime in October.
Nabil el Zhar : Knee injury suffered during pre-season might make a return early next month.
Fernando Torres : The cut received during the Stoke game was a minor one and he did not even need to cover it up. Of course he will play against Villa and probably score a goal or two unless he wants a hatrick which would be fine with me :-)
Jamie Carragher : Still recovering from the head injury sustained against Spurs, he will probably sport the head band again on Monday. Jamie please wear a red one :-)
Albert Riera : Looks like he is totally healed, was subbed in on Wednesday so he will feature on Monday.
Steven Gerrard : His groin seems to be healed considering that service he gave Kuyt on Wednesday. Is it me or each time Gerrard gets injured he returns as a better player? :-)
I forgot to mention Aquilani, he will play the first game in October.
