This is the same watch worn by most Premier League referees.
The time second hand moves slower after 90 minutes to allow for that extra injury time goal.

Old Red Nose sends them out as Crimbo presents.
so true, and what makes it worse is all the United gloater’s today, pathetic…
What are you losers complaining about! These are the FACTS…The 4 minutes stoppage time was put up BEFORE City equalised. So add on the goal celebration by Bellamy, another one by Owen and the late United substitution and you have the total of 7 minutes stoppage time. Another FACT, the extra time played was the same for both sides so City could have easily grabbed the winner instead of United…would you have complained then? You guys have a huge chip on your shoulders with your warped view that Ferguson gets ‘looked after’ by the officials. How about Chelsea having NINE minutes of injury time added on? Was the referee ‘looking after’ Harry Redknapp? Of course not! It’s time that you lot of bitter Scousers faced reality.
Hey Frank I was wondering where you were hiding. I hear that there is a new sensation down there called Robbie Fowler.
And one more thing…If you think that referees are corrupt, any of you up to being a professional one? Not a chance!
The new sensation is a guy called Michael Owens, ever heard of him?
Michael Owens no? Is he related to Jessie Owens?
Do you forget your Anfield heroes so quickly mate? Sad!
I do not remember a player called Michael Owens ever playing for Liverpool.
Everyone in football had a soft spot for Owens, including me, even though he played for Liverpool. Looking at the expression on his face after scoring the winner yesterday has to give everyone who watched him grow up a good feeling…except for bitter Scousers of course!
Owens, I do not know who you are talking about. I do not know of any player called Owens that played for Liverpool.
Owens? Nope dont recall a Liverpool player by that name….
Typical Liverpool response, deny all reality! What planet are you on?
Again we never had a player called Owens playing at Liverpool and that is a FACT.
Owens??Owens who?I sure as hell know my anfield players and I’m 100% sure there is no Owens!!
Same here, no owens that I can remember of…
I never doubted myself but, in the interests of fairness, I checked google and no… no Owens! mind you – can’t see anyone at manure that fits that desription either! strange….
no i dont no any player thats played for liverpool by the name of owens
Micheal Owens, is that some golf player or something. Liverpool has had many player but not an Owens. By the way The Falcon, there is no and will never be added time given for substitutions or even for goal celebrations that is part of the game. Are you just playing clueless or you seriously are.
Micheal Owens? Nope never heard of him, is he Asstralian?
I have checked Liverpool FC history book and there’s 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000% that liverpool never had a player named owens.
hmmm maybe the falcon could give us a link to enlighten us on a supposed Owens that played for Liverpool?
pretty sure there was no Michael Owens at liverpool. Got to say this Owens argument has made my day!
I swear I played for Liverpool!
ROFL
How many appearances did you make Mr. Owens?
Never heard of Michael Owens before.
I do know of a mercenary midget by the name of Michael Owen, though. Very injury prone. He’d have gone downstairs to let the cat back in this morning, but managed to yank his hamstring as he got out of the bed.
Can someone please explain who this Owens fellow is and when he played for Liverpool?????? Us guys in South Africa have become very interested in this new player……
Amith relax on the ‘asstralian’ cracks son. I’m Aussie and believe me when I say where not clueless tools like this Falcon bloke. Falcon the players name is Michael OWEN not only are you a typical MANC your also a disgrace to Aussies. Get it right or don’t post you tool. If you had a half a brain you would know that. But at the same time if you had half a brain you wouldn’t be following Men United. Retard.
Michael Owen that I ever know, is a member of “take that”…am I rite? ;p
Hey guys, Yes, I’m the Michael Owens who made several appearances for Liverpool. I then had a shit career after Anfield and was told I would be given one more chance at football if I gave a few under the table with A.F. I turned down my child hood team Everton for a ‘dream’ opportunity at OT. Although I’m hoping that I won’t break any of my legs or get any knocks during the remainder of the season because knowing those scousers – they will absolutely throw shit at me if it happens. I’m not looking forward to playing the them at Anfield either. You’ll Never Walk Again
Hi, Micheal Owens :S You must really be into the FIFA or PES games if you’ve had a career at Anfield. Oh and i never knew you could throw stuff. Is that an additional feature in FIFA 10?
-Sam
lmao :):):)
Michael oooh..when??
i is sorry for my mispeling, i ment Michael Owen, he is was a good player at Liverpool (Torres is better), and wont be as good at manchesterer younited, but once he learns to dive and cheat like the rest of the squad, he will fit in fine :)
adios from the retarded united fan (one of many)! :D
Don’t know who made the comment above on my behalf but it was a very bad attempt to impersonate me.
This was my initial comment on the matter and I have not seen anything from anyone that disputed the FACTS.

The only thing that everyone has jumped on is the addition of the letter s at the end of Owen in my later comments. Has nobody ever made a typo? The truth is that I must have had the Michael Owens in this forum on my mind! It’s so typical of Scousers to get so excited about one letter of the alphabet when everyone knew precisely who I meant.
By the way have a look at some of the other typos on this thread…bucky8 “I say where not clueless”…Michael Owens “I’m not looking forward to playing the them at Anfield either”
Frank, glad to see that you learnt the name of your player.
The Premier League administration is scared of Fergie that is why he gets away with murder.
Incidentally Preach, you are totally wrong when you say “By the way The Falcon, there is no and will never be added time given for substitutions or even for goal celebrations that is part of the game”
This is what Referees chief Keith Hacket had to say as reported in The Daily Mirror “According to Law 7 of FIFA’s statutes, it is up to the referee to decide how much more added time to allow for goals, substitutions, injuries, time wasting or any other causes that happen after 90 minutes have been played. Owen’s winner came 85 seconds after the four minutes signalled by the fourth official had elapsed and Hackett says Atkinson was perfectly entitled to play more added time.”
We all make mistakes Antoine. I would have picked up on it if I had not gone to bed shortly afterwards. There have been lots of instances to show that the administration does not favor Ferguson in any way. The whole thing is simply a myth created by Scousers as an excuse for not having won a title for nearly 20 years. Other failures then picked up on it as their excuse as well. You don’t often hear the Chelseas and Arsenals making the same accustion do you?
25 years for you Mancs in between domestic league titles. Come back in 6 years if we haven’t yet won it then start laying down the facts.
Liverpool Football Club is the most successful club in England, and the most successful club from England in the UEFA Champions League.
