We were so busy at the tail end of last season that this slipped past us. This incident happened in a La Liga game between Real Madrid & Getafe. Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portuguese team-mate Pepe fouls Javier Casquero first by pushing him and then but kicking him twice while he was down. Of course he was red-carded but before that he managed to punch another Getafe player “Juan Albín”. On his way to the dressing room he even insulted the 4th official.
Pepe received a 10 match ban for this, in my opinion he should have been banned for life.
