Sun 18th Oct News, Rumours and Rants

Gutted over yesterday’s loss but really the whole talk is about that beach ball. Why does someone take a beach ball to Sunderland? It really makes it hard to digest it when it was one of our own supporters who did that.
(They should stop selling those beach balls,  Evertonians are going to snatch them.)

The rumour is that Man City are paying £20 million for the beach ball to play up front with them
(At least we can find humour in this, but no kidding all those millions spent on players and then a £5 beach ball scores a goal)

Sky Sports is looking for the boy who threw the ball more…
(Leave the kid alone)

Former ref Jeff Winter claims that the goal should not have stood more…
(Well would it have made much difference however? We still did not score, the ball was not the only reason we lost yesterday.)

Now the Saudis are claiming they are not buying Liverpool more…
(Call me crazy but didn’t they claim they were?)

And now the Sunday papers are as usual predicting more doom and gloom for us.
(Again the issue is our debt, no matter what H&G OUT NOW)

Riera talks about his home island of Mallorca  more…

(Sorry Albert but we start talking on the pitch.)

Aquilani is only match-fitness away from his debut more…
(We might see him on the bench soon)

Now here is more humour, Beckham snubs a move to Liverpool  more…

(Rafa would never want Beckham, Posh Spice does not have Kwality)

Young Plymouth Argyle defender Jamie Richards is a Red target  more…
(I do not know anything about the 16 year old but United are after him too so let us grab him if he is good)

Miralem Pjanic is the one to watch on Tuesday   more…
(We need to be careful of these young Slav players, we have been punished in the past.)

Steven Gerrard & Fernando Torres are both in the running for the Balon d’Or more…

(I guess Messi is going to win it, we already got the Balon de Beach)
