Mon 19th Oct 2009 News, Rumours and Rants

The Premier League has ruled out a replay of the Sunderland game more…
(Did we actually think we have a chance of getting a replay? We have a better chance of seeing Manchester United relegated to Division 2 then to see the Premier League do something in our favour.)

However Mike Jones, the referee of the game will probably be axed from the Premier League more…
(Good, maybe they can find someone who knows football.)

As I predicted the Man Who fans and Toffes are buying up the beach ball  more…
(Hey the club should have increased the price a lot, they morons would have still bought it. Then we would have made enough money to clear our debt and buy some players.)

For those of you who found beach balls in your work cubicle or office his morning, save them. If any team does not score against us we can use them as counter-banter in the future. Hey even a beach ball is better than your Michael Owen etc. :-)

Michael Owen is expecting a hostile reception at Anfield  more…
(Hell yes, bring him on.)

Man Utd fans are practicing singing 99 Luft Balloons

(I added a link to the lyrics, hopefully they can read German.
Hast Du etwas Zeit für mich
Dann singe ich ein Lied fuer Dich
Von 99 Luftballons
Auf ihrem Weg zum Horizont
Denkst Du vielleicht grad’ an mich
Dann singe ich ein Lied fuer Dich
Von 99 Luftballons
Und dass sowas von sowas kommt
)

Carra predicts that Liverpool will bounce back  more…
(Ok first of all no more bounce talk for a while. I must say we saw the Old Carra back against Sunderland, that was a fantastic block.)

Ryan Babel changed his Twitter username and protected his updated after receiving some nasty abuse
(This is way wrong, there were 11 players on the field on Saturday and to blame the only one on Twitter is not right. Direct abuse like that is unacceptable no matter what.  I am sure the Liverpool haters will use this as ammunition, I really can not see any other player now putting their neck out and start tweeting.)

And finally fans are upset because the Portsmouth away game was switched to an earlier kickoff  which will mean that they will have to wake up at 6AM  more…
(Come on guys, 6 AM ain’t bad. I wake up at 3 AM to prepare these news every morning, while millions of Red fans in Asia have to stay up all night to watch some of our games. :-) )
